Last Thursday students of the second level of secondary school went to excursion. We went to the countryside. The art teacher, Manuel Cubero, and the physical education teacher, Javier, came with us.
The
bus took us to the place where the road started. We left the
secondary school at half past eight and we arrived at nine o’clock
in the morning. Then we started to walk. We were walking for several
hours. Later we climbed a mountain and we saw “Las
chorreras”. It is a waterfall. It’s
very beautiful scenery. There we ate a sandwich and we took some
photos of the scenery. After that we started to walk again, but now
the road was worse than before, so we walked more slowly. There was a
lot of mud and some people fell. Their clothes were full of mud.
After
two hours we arrived to Bailon River. We had to cross the river six
times. This stretch was the funniest. Some people were afraid to
cross the river because they thought that they were going to fall
because some rocks were moving. Some of them got their shoes wet. A
boy slipped and he almost fell into the river but another student
hold him.
At
the end when remained five minutes to get to the bus a girl fell and
she hurt her knee. Finally everyone got to the bus. We were very
tired.
In
my opinion that trip was very adventurous because we crossed the
river and climbed the mountain and very funny because some people
fell. I would go there again with my friends.
