As
every year it is celebrated in our institute I.E.S. Mencía López de
Haro the book fair and the cultural week on the occasion of both
teachers and students enjoy and learn from literature and general
culture.. This year marks the twelfth book fair, where you can enjoy
all kinds of books throughout the week. The first day part of the
students could enjoy trips to "the Torcal de Antequera",
first aid courses, and isotonic drinks workshops, to end the day in
the afternoon the institute offered exhibitions
of Cantalenguas
and acrobatic
sport.
On Tuesday the first and second courses learned thanks to urban
orientation workshops and domestic workshops, to finish, in the
afternoon the students of the institute made the cultural gymnkana
throughout the town. On Wednesday, apart from the domestic workshops,
a visit to the archaeological museum of Doña Mencía was organized,
later they received an educational talk by art of the Civil Guard
about alcohol, drugs and the danger of the Internet. To finish the
day with rhythm they had a Zumba workshop where they danced for hours
in the afternoon there was a talk by the Civil Guard for the parents
of the students with the purpose of informing them about the safety
of their children. Thursday was full of varied activities, including;
a trip to Córdoba, visit to the archaeological museum, domestic
workshops and a didactic concert offered by students of our institute
and primary education. And to end on Friday had talks with the local
police, trips to the archaeological museum, a coexistence of sixth
grade students with primary students of our institute and to end our
cultural week well the entire school including teachers, went to the
theater of "Lope que te parió" in the house of the culture
of our town. There was no better way to end our cultural week !!
